Southbank is authorised and regularly evaluated by the International Baccalaureate. We are also inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
In addition, we are a founder member of the International Baccalaureate Schools and Colleges Association of the UK and Ireland (IBSCA), and a member of the International Schools Sports Association (ISSA) and Independent Schools Association (ISA).

Southbank Kensington receives outstanding ISI report - Oct 2024
We’ve always known our school and community is special, but we’ve had that confirmed by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), who reports to the UK government's Department of Education. We are thrilled with all the positive things they highlighted about our school whilst on their visit.
The ISI’s inspection looks at whether schools meet a set of Standards, all of which we are pleased to say were met.
The inspection report also highlights the ISI’s observations on how those standards are being met. We are very proud to share that we were awarded a very rare ‘significant strength’ judgement as a result of creating conditions in a school where students thrive.

Southbank Hampstead receives 'excellent' ratings in ISI report
We are delighted to share that the inspectors found our Hampstead campus to be just as exceptional as Kensington and once again we’re pleased with all the positive things they highlighted about our school whilst on their four-day inspection.
This ISI inspection involves two parts. The first part reports on regulations in relation to the Independent Schools Standards all of which we are pleased to confirm are compliant and the second part of the inspection on educational quality received 'excellent' rating.
