Admissions Process

Applying is straightforward

Southbank is a non selective school with rolling admissions. This means we accept applications all year round meaning students can start school at any point in our academic year (subject to availability).

We have designed our admissions process to be as easy as possible. The whole process is done online via our application system.  The admissions team is happy to assist you and every step of the way.

Easy 5 step process
1
Starting in the right place

Before you start we recommend you familiarise yourself with the below information this will help make the application process easier.

Please read through our admissions criteria to familiarise yourself with our requirements.

At Southbank we use the American grading system, use our age placement chart so you know what grade to apply for.

Southbank has Student Sponsor Status.

2
Application Information

Familiarise yourself with all the application information and documents you will need to upload to our online application system as they differ for each programme. We advise that you have these documents ready before you start your application.

3
Start your application

Start and submit your application by using our online application system. Please contact our Admissions team if you have any questions about the application process.

4

At the end of your online application, you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of £250 (per application). The bank details will be provided at the end of your application. We do not currently accept debit or credit cards.

5
Receive an offer

Once your application is completed ( all references have been received and the application fee has been paid) and submitted it will be sent to our Admissions committee who will review your application and supporting documents. This can take between 7 to 10 working days.

Our Admissions team will notify you of the outcome of your application. If the admissions committee recommends that your child is admitted to the school, and a place is available, you will be given the option to receive a formal offer. If you are successful but no places are available for your desired entry date, your child will be placed on our waiting list. We will then notify you when a place becomes available.
